As a recipe developer, I often get asked where I get my love for cooking, and unsurprisingly to anyone who's tasted her food, it comes from my Nonna Anna. Having worked as a restaurant cook after migrating to Australia she sure knows how to make any recipe taste amazing, especially this one - her lentil soup.
It’s a humble dish with just a few ingredients, but the secret to her recipes is time. She always takes the time to cook things low and slow, never rushing the process. Now I know this might seem like a simple recipe, but there’s something so deliciously comforting about it, and now that I have the recipe, I know it’ll be a regular part of my weekly meal plan!
